Have you thought much about the church lately?

If you’re like most Adventists, you take the church for granted. It’s a building . . . OK, it’s a congregation of Christians. What’s there to think about? Truth is, there’s a lot to think about. The end of another century and the threshold of a new millennium should be the occasion for the renewal of corporate consensus regarding our Adventist identity, recommitment to the tasks of the church, and a search for appropriate forms of witness.
